Mitchell Hughes had a good life.  He had a stunning wife, Kara, and two beautiful daughters, Samantha and Angela.  Mitchell had a promising career as a political science teacher at GlendaleHigh School.  But his life began to fall apart.  Mitchell began to suffer from a genetic visual impairment diagnosed as Dominant Optic Neuropathy that threatened his family, his career, and his life.  To make matters worse, his two daughters inherited the disorder as well as they began to show symptoms of the visual impairment.  Unable to cope with the stress, Mitchell’s wife suddenly sues for divorce and disappears from Mitchell’s life, leaving him alone to fend for himself and his two daughters. 

            But then the unthinkable happens…Mitchell is put on trial for a heinous murder…a murder he knows he didn’t commit.  Although Mitchell has no recollection of the night of the murder, the data files from his brain implant state otherwise.  His only hope is Claire Evans, his defense attorney—an intelligent and beautiful woman that he has begun to have romantic feelings for in the first few days of his incarceration.  However, Claire doesn’t have a shred of evidence to prove her client’s innocence as the trial begins.
